Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik assists worker in distress

Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik provided thirty thousand for Janardan Majhi’s treatment. He offered the money from his relief fund for treating Majhi, a 45 years man. Majhi is a local resident of Kabisuryanagar. This man from the Ganjam district was seen lying near the Sri Jagannath Temple this Friday. Majhi after returning from Surat fell sick due to a lack of proper nutrition. Improper nutrition led to poor health conditions, and thus he turned into reduced to a skeleton.

What steps did the administration take for Majhi?

Alok Dash, youth Congress President took Majhi’s responsibility after finding him near Dri Jagannath Temple. He then took Majhi to the district headquarters hospital. Later on, Alok Dash tweeted Naveen Patnaik asking for his help and input. Alok Dash made sure that Majhi gets proper treatment and nutrition on time. After admitting him to the hospital, doctors said that Majhi requires constant attention and intensive care.

With proper treatment and medicine, he would also require nutritious food. These things would no doubt make his treatment costly. Naveen Patnaik gave instructions to the doctor to continue with the treatment, as he would take financial responsibility. After two to three days, Majhi was responding to the treatment and the recovery would take time. However, doctors further said that the complete process would take almost a month. Since he was suffering from poor nutrition. After a few days, Majhi showed thankfulness Naveen Patnaik as well as the district administration as they took his responsibility.

As of now, Majhi is responding to the medicines as well as the treatments. Apart from that, his physical condition is improving. However, it would take more than a month for complete recovery.
