Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar in a film together. The actors are known for their roles in high-octane action flicks. They will soon share the screen in a film named Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The film will directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Pooja Entertainment. The film is a remake of the same-named 1998 comedy film, which starred Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda in double roles.
David Dhawan directed the original, which also starred Ramya Krishnan, Raveena Tandon, Anupam Kher, and Paresh Rawal. The film was one of the year’s biggest action blockbusters, and the songs from it, particularly Makhna, which starred Madhuri Dixit, went viral.
Akshay Kumar announced his involvement with the production on Twitter, writing: “I made my cinematic debut the same year you did in this planet. Chote Miyan, phir bhi muqabla karoge? Full-on activity, chal phir ho jaye.” With Mahesh Bhatt’s 1987 film Aaj, Akshay Kumar made his film debut. His first major job as a lead actor, though, was in Saugandh (1991).
Tiger Shroff, meanwhile, wrote: “Double dhamaka, double action! Are you ready, Akshay Kumar, to khiladiyo ki tarah dikhaye heropanti? It gives me hope to see my ChoteMiyan Jackky replicate that magic alongside Ali Abbas Zafar, who has a fantastic vision for the film.
