Actor Deepika Padukone added Indian traditional glamour to the red carpet of the 75th annual Cannes Film Festival on Saturday (IST). The diva walked on the red carpet on the last day of the international film festival held in the French Riviera town and posed for the paparazzi. She was a jury member at Cannes and made heads turn with her heavenly fusion look in an ivory saree and a unique blouse.
On Sunday, Deepika shared pictures of her ethereal look for the last day of the Festival de Cannes. She wore a custom ivory ruffled saree, bustier blouse, and a unique pearl collar by ace designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. She captioned her post with just a white heart emoticon. While the Instagram account of Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla called her “Celestial Grace.”
The Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla piece features a floor-sweeping trail and dramatic pleated ruffles attached to the borders. She wore a bustier blouse which was decorated with pearls and crystals. She completed her look with a statement hand-embroidered pearl collar that sat on the shoulder.
She wore a pair of ornate gold Kundan jhumkis. The diva opted for subtle smoky eye shadow, winged eyeliner, kohl-lined eyes, heavy mascara on the lashes, filled-in eyebrows, glowing skin, glossy mauve lip shade, blushed cheeks, and beaming highlighter. A center-parted sleek low bun completed the look.
