Despite criticism from some academic council members, the Delhi University has approved the Undergraduate Curriculum Framework (UGCF). It has created in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP) for the 2022-23 academic session.
The DU has authorized the adoption of the NEP and the four-year undergraduate curriculum beginning in 2022-23. (FYUP).
According to the dissent letter, the university offered stakeholders only 10 days to reply to a restructure. So that it will transform the face of UG education and have significant ramifications for students and faculty.

No efforts were made to solicit feedback from statutory entities such as the Committee of Courses, the Faculty and Staff Council. And other democratic forums such as the Departmental Council.

They said that the UGCF does not adhere to the structure outlined in the draught National Higher Education Qualifications Framework (NHEQF), on which the UGC is soliciting comment.
The message instructed the University to gather issues made in statutory bodies on NEP recommendations, including UGCF, and transmit them to the UGC as input on NHEQF.
