Delhi University has planned to reintroduce offline sessions from February 17, 2022. Offline sessions for all undergraduate and postgraduate degrees will commence the following week.
In light of the current pandemic scenario, the university has invited students enrolled in the University of Delhi. So that they can complete the three-day isolation period before reporting to their respective colleges/departments.
A top university official stated on Wednesday that sessions in the physical mode will begin on February 17, despite continuous demonstrations by student groups seeking the return of offline classes at Delhi University.
Across party lines, student organizations have demanded that the Delhi University (DU) commence offline classes as soon as possible.
Libraries, Laboratories, and Canteens of the University/Colleges/Departments/Centers will begin operations on February 17, 2022, strictly conforming to the COVID19 rules given by DDMA, MHA, MOHFW, and UGC.
“We are considering reopening and will do so shortly.” The pupils are becoming agitated. It is a massive system. We’re talking to college presidents about it. Students are also outdoors and will take a break. “We want to open by the end of the month,” he told PTI.
Furthermore, all teaching, non-teaching, and student personnel should adhere to COVID-appropriate behaviour such as wearing masks, keeping social distance, regular hand washing, and the use of sanitizers.
