Karnataka’s Sini Shetty Becomes Femina Miss India World 2022

Karnataka’s Sini Shetty becomes the 58th Femina Miss India World 2022, succeeding Manasa Varanasi of Telangana 2021. Sini Sadanand Shetty wins the Crown with Rubal Shekhawat of Rajasthan as the first runner-up, and Shinata Chauhan of Uttar Pradesh bags the Crown for being the second runner-up. 


The ceremony occurred at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai, and the winner’s names were announced on Sunday.

The beauty hunt is done annually across the country, and winners are shortlisted for the Femina Miss India World. The winners from the 31 states are allowed to participate in the beauty contest competing with one another by undergoing hard and rigorous training and grooming for personality. 

In the ahead journey as Miss India, the contestant go forward to compete for Miss Universe, and the runner-ups are made to appear for Miss World. 


In 1994, India created history when Sushmita Sen won the first-ever Miss Universe, and the runner-up Aishwarya Rai won The Miss World title. India bagged both the greatest beauty pageant home in 1994. 


Actors like Neha Dhupia, Dino Morea, and Malaika Arora. and Famous fashion designers like Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna designed the costume for the beauty pageants. From the field of dance, choreographer Shiamak Davar and former cricketer Mithali Raj participated as jury for the auspicious event. 

Neha Dhupia, who has been Miss India World, was felicitated for 20 years of her journey in the field. 


Soon after the winners of the Femina Miss India world were announced, there was an ocean of congratulations congratulating the winners.

The Miss India World official page took its Instagram to handle congratulating the 3 gorgeous beautiful ladies for their accomplishments. 

The winner Sini Shetty too, took her Instagram handle, stating- “Thanks for all your lovely wishes, I hope I made Karnataka proud. I Can’t wait to start this new journey and make India proud Keep showering all your love and blessings, and I love y’all”. 

Way Forward

Therefore, it is expected that the beauty pageants who win the title would create a new room for the women so that they realize their Grace, Poise, and Beauty.
