PM Narendra Modi is on Two day visit to Karnataka

PM Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Karnataka state for a series of the inauguration of various developmental and public utilities. The much-awaited suburban rail for the City of Bengaluru. 

But the highlight of this visit will be his participation in the International Day of Yoga to be organized on Tuesday, June 21, at the iconic Mysuru Palace.

Events

PM Modi to inaugurate various events and infrastructure mid-way. A face-to-face interraction at 22 schools and a women empowerment gathering has also been scheduled to be attended by PM Modi. Also, he will interact with the central government scheme beneficiaries.

He would inaugurate the Sanskrit Pathashaala and the newly constructed students’ hostel at Suttur Math. 

Hence further, PM will lay the foundation stone for the Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project (BSRP), which will connect the City with its suburbs and satellite townships in its area. A Rs 15,700 crore project will have four corridors covering a distance of 148 km.

Foundation stone will also be laid for the redevelopment of Bengaluru Cantonment and Yeshvantpur railway stations, which are to be developed at the cost of around Rs 500 crore and Rs 375 crore, respectively.

The PM dedicated the recently-commissioned fully air-conditioned railway station – Sir M Visvesvaraya Railway Station at Baiyappanahalli to the nation. It has been developed like an airport worth Rs 315 crore.

PM Modi then inaugurated the Centre for Brain Research (CBR) and laid the foundation stone of Bagchi Parthasarathy Multispeciality Hospital.

Conclusion

For the next one-day visit, a couple of events are again arranged post-celebration of the Yoga Day.
