Directed by Srijit Mukherji and the reel version of the real character is being played by the talented actress Tapsee Pannu. She has given life hard dedication and effort in making the character look authentic in every aspect of the scenes.

Mithali Dorai Raj is a former Indian cricket who has captained the Indian team for more than one ICC ODI World Cup in 2005 and 2017. She is considered to have scored the highest run-scorer in women’s international cricket and is also considered to be one of the greatest female cricketers ever.

Mithali raj holds much of World records. She is the only female cricketer to surpass the 7,000 run mark in Women’s One Day International matches.

The greatest landmark victory she achieved in her cricket career was to score 2000 runs in T20Is as an Indian player in the Men and Women category in 2000.

Mithali is the recipient of several prominent awards and purashkars from India and abroad, like Wisden Leading Woman Cricketer in the World in 2017. She was also a recipient of the second-highest sporting honor Arjuna Award in 2003, the fourth-highest civilian award Padma Shri in 2015, and the highest sporting award of India, Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna in 2021.

With all her accomplishments and achievements, she announced her retirement in 2019.
