Two RRR release dates have put producers in a bind, according to industry experts.

When SS Rajamouli announced two release dates for his magnum opus film, RRR, the Bollywood industry was taken aback. The latest statement by the creators of Jr NTR and Ram Charan’s highly anticipated film has not gone down well with the producers of future Bollywood flicks.

After announcing two release dates for RRR, Bollywood producers miffed with SS Rajamouli:

RRR director SS Rajamouli set two release dates last week. According to their statement, “We are prepared to distribute the picture on March 18, 2022. If the country’s pandemic situation improves and all theatres reopen to full capacity.

Last week, RRR director SS Rajamouli established two release dates. According to their claim, “We are ready to release the film on March 18, 2022. Assuming the country’s pandemic situation improves and all theatres reopen at full capacity.

However, this is not the first time RRR has taken over other films’ release dates. When RRR announced its January 7 release date in December 2021. Finally, because to the Covid surge, even RRR was unable to release in January.

He should have thought about other film releases as well. His isn’t the only film that people are excited about. This is not acceptable behaviour.”

Trade analysts decline SS Rajamouli’s Decision to be unfair:

To have a better understanding of the scenario, IndiaToday.in reached out to Bollywood insiders, who analyzed the situation and provided their thoughts on whether declaring two release dates is a safe practice or not.

Vishek Chauhan, a theatre owner and trade expert, believes SS Rajamouli’s ruling is unjust. “I would argue that is an unjust call,” he remarked, adding that conflicts should not occur. People should talk because Jayantilal Gada (RRR’s producer) is as much a part of Bollywood as he is in the South. As a result, I am not a fan of conflicts, and major motion pictures should not clash.

In this instance, Sajid Nadiadwala, SS Rajamouli, and Jayantilal Gada may surely talk and reschedule, but my gut impression is that RRR will come on Eid.”

They are not paying attention to any other movie releases dates. They think it is a big movie, they have spent a lot of money on promotions, unlike other movies.
